Hybrid Music Recommendation with Genre Suggestions, PES University Jan '22 — Dec '22

Developed a music recommendation system using ALS Matrix Factorization, SVD, Cosine Similarity, Spectral Clustering, and RNNs.
Implemented both collaborative and content-based filtering to improve recommendation accuracy. Utilized two datasets to generate and display results, while dynamically incorporating new songs based on user data. Tested with sample users, showing notable improvement over traditional collaborative filtering alone.
