Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS), Virtual Trip Project
Transcript Editor (September—October 2023):
In this role, I reviewed numerous video recordings from the Psychedelic Science Conference that took place in Denver in June 2023. I was commissioned to edit/correct AI-formulated transcripts throughout my review of these recordings, and was required to continuously communicate with team leads of the project regarding progress and completion of assignments. While I reviewed recordings ranging in topics, my particularized knowledge of psychedelic policy warranted the bulk of assignments focused on policy.
MAPS, Psychedelic Science Conference
Policy Panel Volunteer (June 2023):
In this role, I was situated at the Policy Stage for the duration of the Psychedelic Science Conference. Throughout the conference, I was required to take notes on each speaker’s presentations. At conclusion of the conference, I was tasked with drafting coherent, comprehensive summaries from the notes I had taken during each presentation. These summaries were created for, and provided to, MAPS's Director of Policy and Advocacy for use/review.
