Motivated student currently completing a Bachelor's degree in Marine Science with Chemistry minor at University of Mobile. Eager to expand horizons and develop into an effective teacher, and make a positive impact in a classroom to develop an awe for sciences and encourage the students to reach their highest potential
- Research project of a specific species that hasn't been seen in over 40 years, that our class had the privilege of aiding assistance
-Basic field/lab skills used in cetacean research
- Science skill development (data collection, literature review, oral presentation, and how to use media for educational outreach) through exercises conducted as part of the cetacean class
- Describe the local marine ecosystems, and their major physical characteristics and identify the common organisms found in them
-Sample and measure physical parameters and biodiversity of local marine ecosystems
- Anatomy and common necropsy techniques for marine mammal species discussed in the course.
