During my 3 years with Golden Corral as a cook, I was able to learn all positions in kitchen, my usual spot was prep cooking with steamers ensuring next shift was set up with what was needed for the remainder of the day. I’ve worked grill, fryers, pizza station ensuring all food being served was hot and fresh for our customers.
McDonald’s was my first job in which I took on the role of taking orders, handing out food, and making orders as well. As my time went on I became shift manager towards the end of time with them where I was in charge of setting up my shift and next shift up for success by making sure my fellow coworkers got their breaks on time, prep was done.
During my time in Jorge’s kitchen it was my duty to ensure a delicious, up to standard plate in a timely manner for our customers. Cleanliness was a must as well as ensuring food safety protocols were followed 100% despite how busy we could get.
I was in charge of cleaning off tables and helping my fellow waitresses ensure our customers got a clean table.
