I am a current college junior who will be attending Texas A&M (College Station) this Fall 2024 to pursue a bachelors in Animal Science (Science option). A career as a veterinarian is my dream and I am dedicated to working hard towards becoming such. Currently, I am in between the decision of whether to focus my time towards small-animal involvement and internships or to also consider large animals. I am looking for the opportunity to shadow a vet so that I can help decide before I leave town for school. Ultimately, a few hours a couple times a week is all that I am looking for and I would greatly appreciate any opportunity to do such.
I currently have 75 college credit hours spread between AP and Dual Credit courses in High school, Hill College, and Tarrant County College. I decided not to graduate with my associates degree because it was not my ultimate goal. Instead, receiving my Master's in Animal Science (With a Ag Business minor) and a DVM is my goal.
