As the Production Designer for the independent short film The Mocking Bird Sings Loud and Clear, I collaborated closely with the director to ensure the visual elements aligned with their creative vision. I oversaw all aspects of set design, costume, hair, makeup, and food styling, creating a cohesive look that enhanced the film's storytelling. This involved selecting and sourcing props, designing and dressing sets, coordinating with the actors to set wardrobe, and ensuring that each element matched the film's aesthetic. My role required attention to detail, a strong sense of visual style, and the ability to adapt quickly to meet the needs of the production.

As a Film Instructor at a summer camp, I guided students in grades K-8 through the entire process of creating short films, from concept to final edit. I assisted with developing and writing scripts, teaching the fundamentals of storytelling and screenplay structure. I provided hands-on support during the shooting process, covering camera techniques, lighting, and sound, and taught editing skills using software to cut scenes, add music, and create cohesive final projects. As the First Assistant Director for a 48-Hour Film Festival project, Spare Me, I ensured that actors were prepared and in place for each scene, coordinating closely with the director to maintain the production schedule. Additionally, I supervised script accuracy, ensuring that all dialogue and actions were performed as written, and communicated adjustments to the cast and crew as needed. My role required strong organizational skills, quick problem-solving, and effective communication to keep the fast-paced production on track.
