I worked with an 8th-grade mathematics class with a diverse student body, with seven students receiving special education services. In this class, five students required ESOL accommodations. I designed lessons to meet their needs, making sure they received assistance at a more manageable pace with small group instruction.
I provided support in an Advanced Mathematical Decision Making and senior algebra general education co-taught class with a broad spectrum of disabilities. I helped daily in the resource room, working with students with diverse needs in the adaptive curriculum.
I had the opportunity to work with a diverse third-grade class with both special education and general education students. My responsibilities involved working with all the students in both full and small group settings, progress monitoring students, engaging in meetings, and taking part in weekly planning.
