Basic Life Support, 03/2023, 03/2025, The American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) course is designed to train healthcare professionals including nurses, physicians, EMS professionals, and other public safety personnel, to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies in adults, children and infants.

Key to the City of Richardson, TX- 05/2018

The key to the City of Richardson was presented to me, Sydney Johnson by the Mayor of Richardson, Texas in honor of receiving a Courage Award from the U.S. Congress of Texas signed by Pete Session. 

The Courage Award was honored to me by the Berkner High School IMPACT Club. This award highlighted the struggles I had as a newborn infant.  I fought for my life through multiple surgeries due to being a micro-preemie. Under the Courage Award also came with a scholarship.

I received a 4.0 semester grade point average for two consecutive terms, as a junior and or senior in any degree program at Alcorn State University, and has overall (GPA) grade point average of 3.5 or above, therefore, qualifying for receiving the sweater.
