  • In partnership with ED/ Founder and CFO, created annual operating budgets based on fundraising goals, shelter expenses, medical care, adoption revenue, and city contract revenue.
  • Collaborated with ED/Founder and CFO to execute exclusive contract with the City of Raytown for all stray animals through a competitive RFP process.
  • Created and implemented changes to current processes in partnership with the City of Raytown to increase live release rate (LRR) from 10% to 96% within the first year of our contract.

My greatest accomplishment while holding this position has been researching, creating, implementing, and successfully maintaining a Parvo Isolation Ward where all patients have graduated with 100% survival and been adopted. Prior to this program most parvo cases were housed at an area vet and/or euthanized.

Lost Pet Center Admissions Manager

  • Managed and operated Lost Pet Center Intake Facility for the third largest animal shelter in the Kansas City area.
  • Created staff training and animal care procedures, lead veterinary technicians and organizations Foster Coordinator.
  • Implemented procedures to maintain accurate records for Department of Agriculture inspections.
  • Worked with various City Animal Control units and completed City Billing for stray animals and bite quarantines. City partnership contracts included Overland Park, Lenexa, Shawnee, Prairie Village, Merriam, Roeland Park, and Lake Quivira.

My greatest accomplishment while holding this position was being deployed as an ASPCA First Responder for a tree-state, dog fighting ring bust and working in the emergency response unit as a part of the vet team providing medical care for more than 200 animals.
