I did the same daily task as my previous Veterinary Assistant positions.

- Left due to no chance in increase in pay.

• Positioned animals for diagnostic imaging such as x-rays and scans.
• Administered vaccines, injections, medications, and anesthesia.
• Helped with training of new veterinary assistants and support staff to improve individuals' capabilities.
• Assisted with euthanasia procedures in humanely and compassionately to minimize suffering.
• Collected blood for various test.
• Prepared patients for surgery with helping placing catheters, intubating, shaving, cleaning the area, administering anesthesia, monitoring heart rate and oxygen levels.
• Performing TPR.
• Prepared ear cytology's.
• Prepared surgical instrument packs and drapes for use in sterile environments.
• Administered injections, oral medications and topically applied medications prescribed by veterinarian.

• Lap Tech- Ordering medications/ refills.
• Checking patients in.
• TPR.
• Processing payments methods, grabbing prescriptions, going over dosage.
• Performing heartworm tests, vaccines, fecal samples/ urine samples, blood draws, ear cytology's, and cbc's.
• If the p is being dropped off for surgery the previous days I will make sure we had blood drawn prior and go over results.
• The previous day i would've wrapped surgery packs, sterilized them, and placed them correctly in surgery rooms.
• Preparing kennels for the patients coming in the next day.
• Working with the head technician with placing catheters and retrieving and drawing up anesthesia for them.
• Ordering medications we need or are running low on, reply to messages and emails regarding appointments.
• Calling O back day after surgery and ask how the patient is doing as well as reminder calls for appointments.
• Cleaning the clinic properly at the end of the day, checking on patients in boarding, and going over all appointments the coming day.

• Pulling medical charts for daily appointments.
• Making sure all appointments are accounted for and organize them accordingly in appointment order.
• Drop off surgeries start at 7:30 AM , I gather the charts and prepare the paper work for anesthesia and then I start checking in patients and noting everything that needs to be done or reviewed in their chart, and going over estimates.
• After every appointment discharging patient and give them their invoice via email or printed.
• If the patient has previously been with another clinic, I will proceed to call that clinic and request the medical records via email/fax.
• Logging all previous medical history in our database and begin new chart for new patient.
• If patient needs to be boarded, I make sure we have enough vacancy and room for the size and breed and go over if the owner is bringing food and noting if any medications are needed.
• Continuing to make appointment reminders, I call and email all appointments scheduled before 10 AM the day before to keep them informed on their appointment.
• At end of the shift, organize and gather morning appointments for following day.

• First Task- Coordinating with previous kennel/vet tech for the transfer of responsibilities for upcoming shift and check adoption board
• Second Task- Examine medication board for daily medications and for new patients who may need medication or a vaccine
• Third Task- Disburse all this information to the Dr
• Fourth Task- Prepare shots/vax/meds/treatments for the day and give to Felines
• Fifth Task- Feed patients according to their weight, age, and breed
• Sixth Task- Take new patients out to use the bathroom and determine which patients can enjoy ''playtime'' with other patients
• Seventh Task- Patients that are aggressive towards other animals require one on one attention.

• First Task- Conduct a brief meeting with other team players on responsibilities for upcoming shift
• Second Task- Assign individuals to tasks and duties
• Third Task- May 2017 Educate individuals on the proper ways of handling, feeding, and enlighten people on their National
