Integrity Management & Strategic Planning: Facilities Integrity Management Program

• Led team of project managers to develop and run Facility Integrity programs that are driven by safety, compliance and industry best practices.
• Developed NGV HAZOP program to ensure compliance with NFPA 52.
• Developed dashboard, communication plan and a tracking system for Seismic repairs that were observed as part of CalARP best practices.

Construction Operations: Pipeline Safety Enhancement Plan

• Managed approximately $70M of capital projects and supervised team of three project engineers.
• Managed projects in construction and development
• Completed four high pressure distribution pipeline replacement utilizing PMO Stage Gate process from detail design to Pipeline Startup Safety Review to closeout in span of two years.
• Managed two mile Transmission Hydrotest project in construction and closeout.
• Accelerated $5M pipeline replacement project from 2024 to 2021 by early engagement with operations and closely working with design firms to produce sustainable isolation plan for construction.
• Forecasted capital spend and negotiated change orders with design firms and construction contractors
• Collaborated with Lands and Public relations to negotiate laydown yards and ROW terms with private landowners, cities and other utilities for high pressure pipeline replacement projects.
• Provided on-site support to construction ensuring RFIs and change orders are addressed on schedule.
• Ensured proper procedures were followed for leak detection after a failed hydrotest. Communicated daily updates to management and leadership.

Aboveground Storage: Technical Services

• Managed surface facilities projects at Playa Del Ray Station and Aliso Canyon
• Developed scope utilizing inputs from operations, environmental, construction and engineering.
• Coordinated with Gas Engineering to develop Issue for Construction package
• Selected contractors working with supply management and PowerAdvocate software
• Completed projects from design to NOP which include Dehydration system gas filter tie-in, relief valve upgrade, slope stability and Aliso Canyon Admin building staircase.

• Managed 200 wells to meet oil production rate of approx 2000 BBLS at Tidelands.
• Project portfolio consisted of O&M workover wells and Capital enhancement projects ranging from pump upgrades to casing leak repair.
• Developed Approval For Expense proposals for approval from management and city of Long Beach
• Prepared CalGem permit, workover procedures and provided support to rig operations
• On-call 24/7 during wellwork to support Well Site Manager. Negotiated scope changes with CalGem Engineer to ensure compliance on well work.
• Presented to Long Beach City & Oil on a biweekly basis on the production and injection estimates that impacted subsidence.
• Utilized data mining software to develop oil production optimization that filtered oil production data from central database to identify wells that require attention related to repair, optimization and enhancement opportunities.
