Summary

I have traveled extensively throughout my childhood and adulthood. It has become a passion for me.

I have always loved teaching - it has proven to be one of my most rewarding experiences.

I started working on my Masters at Reed College, but wasn't able to finish because I was teaching and expecting my first child at the time.

I taught from the required curriculum, but always found that I was able to deepen the rapport between myself and my students by adding activities and projects to enhance what was being taught. I find that students become far more adept at learning when they are able to identify with the subject being presented.
