Sylvester Jackson

• Performs floor maintenance tasks to include vacuuming, spot cleaning, dry/wet mopping, shampooing, buffing.
• Provides trash removal and disposal for all hospital departments.
• Daily cleaning of equipment used during shift.
• Ensures adequate supplies are available to complete daily tasks.
• Follows safety and infection control policies and all other hospital and department policies and procedures.
• Attends required department meetings, in-services, and continuing education classes.
• Performs other job-related duties as required by Directors and Supervisors.
• Cleanliness: Maintains a high standard of cleanliness for all facility areas.
• Cleans furnishings, floors, and walls to remove all visible soils.
• Places and removes caution signs in areas being cleaned as needed.
• Cleans and returns all equipment to proper storage area.
• Facility Maintenance: Ensures public areas are in a sanitary condition at all times.
• Cleans restrooms, patient rooms, and surgical suites according to department policy and procedure.
• Assists with linen management.
• Replenishes all dispensable items such as paper towels, tissues, etc.
• Empties trash and ensures that the trash receptacle is clean.

• Clean assigned areas of the hospital, including patient rooms, common areas, restrooms, and more
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of assigned areas
• Follow all HHS cleaning procedures and best practices
• Provide friendly and kind service to all individuals in the hospital
• Assist team members and management as needed to help the department operate efficiently

•Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting

•Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards

•Responsible for laundry around the facility
