  • 01/22/2021 tested positive for COVID on Date at Northern Navajo Medical Center. She completed her isolation period as of 01/29/2021. As of 01/29/2021, she is asymptomatic and not considered to be infectious to others, and is released from isolation.
  • I do not recommend routine re-testing after people have completed their COVID isolation period, because in many cases, their PCR test will remain positive for weeks, and sometimes months – even though they are no longer infectious. The tests often detect viral remnants, or left-overs, and are not detecting the actual live infectious virus.
  • If your work policy does not allow her to return until she has a negative test, I would not recommend testing any more frequently than once a week.
