  • Identified/matched foster care placement for children removed from parental custody and placed into state custody.
  • Worked on behalf of Superior Court for Juvenile services/orders; ensuring the needs, safety and wellbeing of the child are met.
  • Collaborated with the childs attorneys, biological parents and community providers to ensure adequate support I.e. physical and mental health, education and medical care while the care of DCF.

Assisted biological Mother in seeking an in-patient and medical care facility for elderly biological Father diagnosed with Dementia in January 2020. Helped with scheduling, attended meetings with providers, advocated for adequate medical care, instrumented placement details for father into the Memory Care Unit at Masonicare in Mystic, Connecticut.


Shiloh Food Pantry New London, CT. June 2021 - September 2021


Participated and assisted in instituting community service, set up, organized and delegating foods and personal items. Identifying needs, scheduling pickup appointments, dropped off foods and other items to residents with no means of transportation, and distributed free items and provisions to the community. All within the 1 year timeframe of the COVID 19 Advisory Board.


New London Homeless Hospitality Center July 2021 - October 2021


Offered receptionist and administrative services. Sent emails to Social Services agencies for clients requesting information and services being offered, ensuring services are administered accurately and as needed. Answered phones, taking message, calling client, make follow-up references made by social service, sort incoming and outgoing mail, and facilitated agendas and attended weekly staff meetings. Identified specific services (food, shelter, employment and social service) for individuals seeking assistance with issues such as mental health, medical care, housing, employment, and food then directed clients to adequate departments. Assisted with scheduling appointments for registration to the CT 211 community call/help line, distinguish basic needs requiring assistance and match to appropriate department for follow-up (housing, personal ID, job training and other referrals needed). Participated in addressing issues of client intake processes, provided ideals to help the intake process move proficiently and reporting back to management and other staff.
