As a hostess, you are the first face people see when they walk into the restaurant so you have to make sure that you are always pleasant and excited for them to come into your restaurant. I had to deal with the chefs, managers, children, staff, customers, and pets. I had to clean the tables and make sure each and every table had water, chips, and salsa. I cleaned the bathrooms every night and took out the trash.

As a intern, I would scan all the important files for their company. I would also get the opportunity to sit in on some meetings with the CEO and hear how they would market to other companies.
