  • Develop HR Standard Operating Procedures. Serves as a point lead for USA Staffing, SMEQA, USA Hire and HireVue. Develop plans of action or project plans necessary to carry out HRIS requirements. Utilizes automated staffing tools and HR systems to generate vacancy announcements, job analysis, and certificates of eligible candidates. Analyze and integrate HR information in order to produce required HR reports and analytics. Proactively provide guidance and end-user training to colleagues, managers and employees on HR processes and tools, and develops user procedures, guidelines and training materials. Serve as key source for HR-related system inquiries and reviewer of HR Specialist work. Assist with information systems projects across a wide range of purposes, performing as a liaison within the respective branches of CISA, its serviced offices/customers.   • As a Senior Human Capital Specialist
  • On a routine basis, I provide professional consultation to program areas within the Office of the Director, Office of Cybersecurity Division, Strategy Policy and Planning, Vulnerability Management and Emergency Communications Division to establish and maintain a positive relationship between the program areas and Human Capital. I meet with Hiring managers and Chief Administrative Officers to provide expert advice on strategic recruitment plans. I consulted with managers and employees on the interpretation and application of HR procedures, Title 5 US Code and OPM Laws. I have received numerous positive feedback and accolades both orally and written. I am available for my employees and servicing areas for any questions or concerns.
  • I develop new recruitments; I extend Tentative and Final Job Offers. As a specialist I assist in the development of position descriptions and job analyses, category rating, preparing vacancy announcements for Merit Promotion and Delegated Examining Unit in USA Staffing posting vacancy announcements on USA Jobs, reviewing qualifications analyses entering employees into FedHR Navigator/Empowhr, I have experience in building position numbers and job codes in automated processing system, negotiating salaries and release dates, preparing Entrance On Duty packages, preparing transmittals and submitted for processing, and closing out case files in all of the automated systems. I also prepared, initiated, review and approve all non- competitive actions such as promotions, reassignments, details, change to lower grades, change in work schedules, pay changes, separations, etc. I have also led the New Employee Orientation for new hires across CISA.
