Summary

As a student who joined two impactful clubs, I've experienced the transformative power of extracurricular activities in making my life more meaningful, both academically and personally. These clubs, the Society of Women Engineers and the Women’s Club Volleyball, have not only enriched my university experience but also shaped my skills, perspectives, and sense of community.

Work History

Reactor Controller With Remote Operation

ChampionX
09.2022 - 10.2023
  • Worked with SWE and collaborated with ChampionX for 6 hours a week to create a reactor controller that can be monitored and operated by a LabView application that's ran on a remote computer
  • Successfully drew out a schematic of the control box on KiCad, which included, but not limited to, 3 fuses, 4 duel receptacles, 5 rocker switches, 4 thermocouple's, and 2 SSRs
  • Used test equipment such as a multimeter to make accurate measurements of both current and voltage from a 120v outlet to the electrical control box
  • Provided detailed technical and operational direction in project challenges, consistently meeting deliverables according to deadlines with the usage of gantt chart

Medical Calculator

Society Of Women Engineers (SWE)
09.2021 - 05.2022
  • Conducted extensive research for over 20 hours to analyze and evaluated the design requirements for a prototype medical calculator
  • Contributed with a team of accomplished women engineers from diverse backgrounds to brainstorm and process a 30 component parts list for the construction of a medical calculator.
  • Proposed the usage of a Arduino Mega and started on a PCB design for the internal hardware of the calculator

Potentiometer With 8 LEDs and a Buzzer

Fundamentals Lab
09.2023 - 09.2023
  • Constructed a fully functional hardware design by skillfully connecting pins from an Arduino board to a breadboard, which was critical to the success of the project
  • Contributed to the circuit design by effectively creating a schematic using Multisim which communicated the design intent of the project
  • Worked with my partner to produce the Arduino code that converted a 10-bit ADC (analog to digital converter) to a 3-bit ADC.
  • Recorded potentiometer reading from 0-7 and configured it with a 3-bit ADC and graphed the outcome on MA TLAB
