Conducted brain checkups in stroke patients using QEEG. Trained in principles of noninvasive brain stimulation and adjusting tDCS devices for patients based on their treatment protocols by supervision of Dr. Mohammad Nami. Trained in and worked with CANTAB as a cognitive test. Assisted neuroscience Ph.D. senior students conducting research on patients with language, speech, and swallowing disorders after they received pre and post QEEG and treatment. Applied Persian TOLD and Persian aphasia validated tests as behavioral language tests.
• Research Thesis, 07/2011, 09/2013, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran, Ahmad Reza Khatoon Abadi, PhD, Melodic intonation therapy in Broca’s aphasia. Designed and developed melodic intonation therapy study in people with aphasia conducted on 10 patients in 30-minute sessions. Designed manual questionnaire on patients’ musical interests and backgrounds to select the target music. Provided suitable space and training to perform each step without any difficulty.
