- Developed an online multi-stakeholder recommendation platform using Multi-armed Bandit algorithms to recommend the most relevant items to users considering the users’ context, relevance, and priority of all involved stakeholders to achieve a good level of satisfaction for every stakeholder in long term (Python)
- Implemented a two-sided recommendation algorithm which recommends items, offered by businesses, to users while considering the preferences of both sides of the marketplace (Python)
- Created a hybrid Deep Learning model (combination of GCN, CNN and LSTM) which extracts the spatial and temporal data patterns, to predict short-term passenger flow at bus stops and outperforms baselines by up to 28% (Python)
- Developed an optimization-based method for multi-characteristic subject selection in user studies with biased datasets. This method outperforms the baselines by up to 90% (Python)
- Built multiple supervised Machine Learning models and Neural Networks (outperformed baselines up to 8 times) to predict bus crowding levels. Measured the accuracy of models using a large dataset (over 100 million records) after data cleaning, transformation, and feature selection (Python and Apache Spark).
