Tahler Lechtenberg

Summary

Dedicated emergency department and trauma nurse with extensive experience providing exceptional patient care in Chicago, Illinois. I am excited for the opportunity to travel and share my expertise with diverse populations and cultures. Thriving in a high-pressure environment at the busiest level I trauma center and hospital in Chicago, I have been able to enhance my critical thinking, knowledge, and hands-on skills. I've been able to demonstrate the ability to handle complex patients and high acuity cases, utilizing strong critical thinking abilities and embracing continuous learning. I've had the chance to continuously develop my skills in time management, task prioritization, and decision-making as an ED and trauma RN. I also teach this to others as a preceptor. In addition to the complexity of the ED I work in, my foundation for practice has been immensely enhanced through managing a patient-to-RN ratio of 1:4, often including many ICU patients. Through this, I showcase resilience, good clinical judgment, fast thinking, and effective communication. Developed leadership and collaboration skills within a large interdisciplinary teams is another huge portion of what I do to be able to advocate for my patient. Lastly, I approach every challenge with a positive attitude, a smile, and the energy and willingness to be the first to help a patient or co-worker regardless of the task.
