Temple Biomechanics Laboratory (TBL)

Research assistant at Temple University Biomechanics Laboratory (TBL), under the supervision of Dr. Kurosh Darvish. TBL is a research facility within the Mechanical Engineering Department of the College of Engineering, focusing on the constitutive modeling of soft tissues and the biomechanics of thoracic and brain injuries.

• Conducted experimental and computational studies on the biomechanics of thoracic and brain injuries.
• Analyzed viscoelasticity, anisotropy, and damage in soft tissues and biomaterials.
• Collaborated on interdisciplinary research projects funded by the NIH, AHA, and the Department of Defense.

Dedicated Teaching Assistant with expertise in Fluid Mechanics, facilitating student learning through discussion sessions, grading, and one-on-one mentorship.

• Provided support in Computer-Aided Design course during one semester.
• Delivered thorough instructional support in Fluid Mechanics over the course of three semesters.

• Probationary period of the Full time role in building performance measurement area
• Working on research and development of unique building performance measurement technologies and software solutions such as:
• O Pulse (a compressed air-based means of measuring building air leakage)
• O SmartHTC (an energy balance algorithm that uses temperature and energy data to determine the thermal performance)
• O Heat3D (an infrared thermography-based means of measuring thermal transmittance through building structures)
