Work closely with the school nurse to address the health needs for approximately 2400 students. Help with day to day medication administrations and procedures. Trained for various emergency medication administrations per safety plans put in place for students with specialized health care needs. Request Dr.'s orders for students that have a need for medical procedures while at school. Triage and evaluate students that come in the clinic with injuries or illness. Overseeing that students are in compliance with the State of Texas immunization requirements.

Responded to 911 emergency calls within the city of Deer Park. Treated, stabilized and transported patients to appropriate emergency room. Followed department protocols and procedures.
