As a junior student (3rd Year) of BS in Computer Science of Queens College of The City University of New York and a current intern of Charja Solutions Limited (http://charja.solutions/), I am a upcoming software engineer and front-end developer. I have designed and developed software and websites for a tobacco control program in Bangladesh supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies (https://www.bloomberg.org/) and another software for membership data management of Bangladesh Waste Pickers Union in Bangladesh with the support from Women in Informal Employment: Globalizing and Organizing (WIEGO) (https://www.wiego.org/). As a front-end developer, I have implemented real-world industry best practices and turned client concepts into workable models. I am a co-author of 2 journal articles on use of information technology in tobacco control and one book on waste management. I was a volunteer mathematics teacher for a non-formal school for waste picker children. In my highschool years I have worked with Goethe-Institute to help promote the German Language and culture to young aspiring students. I have organized events and used my Leadership skills to help manage and organize the events for the entire school body. I used my communication and writing skills to help make an online presence for attracting young minds to participate in events provided by the Goethe-Institute and supplement overseas trip for the prizes won by the winners of competition provided by the institute.
