Recently I volunteered along with my father to do stagehand work at the Ford Field in Detroit. The job required us to take down a bunch of lighting equipment and load them up in boxes to be shipped off to a different location. The job took 8 hours to complete; starting from 11pm to 6am. I was paid 410$ all together.
I was employed by the Black Caucus organization to be a Canvasser during the Trump v. Harris Election and I was tasked going door to door gathering information on who was casting their votes and who wasn't. The job lasted only a day, took around 5 hours to complete, And I was paid 24$ per hour. I would've been in the job longer but unfortunately by the time I joined the election was nearing its end.
As an Artist Assistant I helped in the production of creating a mural in Alkebulan Village, working alongside Phillip Simpson who is an established Detroit Artist. During my time working the mural took a week to make and I was compensated with a pay of 25$ per 4 hours.
