  • Initially she was simply forgetful (dementia) and fighting for her body to cooperate with her mind as she slowly lost her abilities to walk and perform natural bodily movement
  • I stayed with her at her home 3 days each week from 8am-3:30pm, and tasks included checking vitals, administering meds, assisting in transfers from chair to wheelchair, to bed, to toilet, assisting in bathing and using bathroom, cooking and feeding meals, basic hygiene maintenance & dressing, wound dressing and treatment, catheter maintenance, and much more towards the end of her life as she became bed ridden
