- I started at memorial hospital on October 4th 2021 as a patient transporter, my role at the time was to transport patients to and from their procedures and test, such as Cat scans, MRI’s ultrasounds and even surgeries, after working in transport a little over a year I transferred to be a float nursing assistant, my job was to help any floor that was short staffed. Some of the floors I would float to would be the ER, PACU and the OR. I’ve worked on units such as the icu, medsurg, ortho, rehab and pediatrics. My role was to assist with cleaning the patients, taking/charting the patients vitals, measuring patients input and output also help with lab draws.
