Tal Cohen is an Israeli born professional piano player living in Miami for over 10 years. He focuses on presenting his own style of unique Jazz regularly. Tal has performed all around the world and in many of Miami's iconic locations such as the Adrienne Arsht Centre, Moss Centre to name a few. Cohen's Highlights include performing at the Sydney Opera House for a sold out audience and receiving the 'Freedman Fellowship Award'. Cohen was also the recipient of the Prestigious Detroit Jazz Festival Piano Competition which awarded him a generous cash prize and a main slot at the festival. Other highlights include Cohen's Performance at the Melbourne International Festival, Guatemala Jazz festival, Jazzbez Jazz festival in Ukraine and collaborating with Jazz greats such as Ignacio Berroa, Terence Blanchard to name a few. it is important to note that the most monumental highlight for Tal was winning a Grammy Award in 2019 on an album entitled "American Dreamers" By trumpet and arranger extraordinaire John Daversa.
Tal's Original project focuses on blending Jewish melodies with modern jazz influences as he brings his heritage of Israel to the modern Jazz Idiom
