I have been working alongside with the grants department when asked. So far, I have accepted and determined eligibility for the homeowners assistance fund which is one of the grants we have received as a tribe. I am now working with two of my colleagues to update the HAF application and determine remaining funds so we are able to send out another round of payment for utilities. This month, we have also received applications for the CAF program which is the SDG&E Community Assistance Fund. I have been able to help and give assistance to tribal members with this grant as well. I am very thankful to be able to already have experience in this department.
