PA Shadow, Summa Dermatology / May 2022 - August 2022

• Observed thorough history and physical examinations in dermatology.
• Watched the diagnosis and treatment of various conditions, including liquid nitrogen treatment for viral warts, acne regimens, and intralesional Kenalog injections for alopecia.
• Witnessed various skin cancer biopsies and learned the distinctions between squamous and basal cell carcinomas and their treatments.
• Learned how to diagnose melanoma using the ABCDE criteria and observed the treatment of actinic keratoses.
