  • I worked in the ICU as a part of the Pulmonology team.
  • My primary responsibility was to manage critically ill patients by history taking, performing a complete physical exam, carrying out relevant investigations, forming a diagnosis and then initiating treatment.
  • Working in the ICU has allowed me to tackle cases from a variety of medical specialties and because of that I also coordinate meetings of doctors from different departments.
  • Given the current pandemic, I was able to manage patients suffering from COVID-19 and related complications such as 'COVID-19 pneumonia' and 'COVID-19 related stroke'.

  • Company Overview: Having worked in this underserved area before, I volunteered to work in this hospital again but this time as a frontline worker during the COVID-19 pandemic.
