Talon Hull

Growing up in Ogden, Utah, I've always had an appreciation for the beauty and culture of mountain sports. While running competitively at the University of Washington, I discovered my passion for trail running and other mountain sports. Today I am fortunate enough to continue living out my passion at an elite level. While sport has brought great fortune into my life, it has also allowed me to build long lasting relationships with likeminded people. I recently moved to Boulder from Seattle, leaving behind lots of friends and family, and have yet to find community. The passion and people driven mission of Outside excites me.

The Brooks Trailhead is the flagship store location for the Brooks Running company. Located in Seattle, Washington underneath the corporate headquarters, this unique storefront acts as a gateway for new and returning customers to interact with the face of the brand. As a non-commissions based retail sales associate, my purpose was to provide a welcoming and efficient shopping experience while driving sales and customer satisfaction.

Day to day tasks included:

• Greeting customers and helping with product questions, selections, and purchases.
• Educate customers on the company, product knowledge and sponsored content
• Provide advice on popular trail and running locations in the area
• Participating and engaging in store functions such as group runs, shopping nights, and special events targeted towards community outreach and growth
• Established and maintained relationships with key stakeholders and employees in the company
