  • Inspected truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water.
  • Preformed minor maintenance tasks on trucks and pumps.
  • Ensured I had all required PPE required including 4 gas monitor, safety glasses, FR clothing, and any equipment required for high pressure work such as whip cables or high pressure warning signage.

  • Superintend the day to day duties involved in constructing ground up commercial buildings. These duties included: ordering materials, filing for permits, scheduling the various trades to complete the job in the fastest and most efficient way possible, the scheduling of building inspections, communicating details from blueprints to the trades, and assisting with various day to day duties.
  • I was responsible for the dirt building pads. This involved using skidsteer, loader, roller, and backhoes the construct the pad according to specifications. I was also tasked with using construction lasers to obtain the correct grades and elevation as well as schedule compaction tests.
  • Other duties included assisting the in-house crew with various construction duties including: sheetrock hanging and finishing, welding, plumbing both residential and commercial, concrete work, framing, and equipment operation.
  • This company also included a disaster recovery team. In the event of a hurricane, tornado or other natural disaster I was often assigned to help in the mitigation efforts. These duties included: the use of moisture meters to accurately determine water saturation, the operation of large pumps to remove water from buildings, the setting up of fans and dehumidifiers, and flood cutting drywall.
  • I was often tasked with mold mitigation, the repair of drywall, and communicating with the building's owner regarding the day to day processes after a flood or other disaster.
