Married for over 25 years with three children and three grandchildren.

The challenges of being a military spouse and an entrepreneur meant a lot of dedication and patience to get through all of the changes and the challenges that comes with both world, as well as raising little ones. There are a lot of challenges in each of those three worlds respectively, and in order to be successful at any one of them requires a lot of patience, attentive/active listening, humbleness and dedication to push on through every challenge and accept all faults or short comings. With everything that I have done in the past, it is done and seen through to the very end with no shortcuts.

Additional Information

Volunteering and mentoring are a few things that I actively participate in both the business community and our own community. Giving back to the schools and to the less fortunate are other activities that I actively participate in regularly as I come from a family that didn't have much growing up and believed in helping anyone trying to better themselves.

Basketball provides the opportunity to play as a team, but be recognized as an individual when you have the ball as all eyes are now on you to see what you are going to do with the basketball. Nature walks are perfect for getting in tune with the environment and getting alone time and you don't have to think and you can enjoy the surrounding scenery or the sounds of nature that is surrounding you. Doing puzzles keep the mind thinking and keeps it active to help keep it healthy and strong. Spending time with my family is the best way to see what we have accomplished over the years and gauge what is next and what I need to do to get my family better prepared for the unpredictable future that awaits us all.
