Team Leadership & Development:

• Lead and coached a team of AmeriCorps members (ACMs) through a ten-month service and leadership development program, fostering an environment of idealism, civic responsibility, and professional growth.
• Set clear expectations and provided continuous feedback, conducting performance management to support ACMs’ personal and professional growth, ensuring alignment with City Year’s values and goals.

Recruitment & Retention Strategy:

• Assist in spearheading recruitment initiatives to attract passionate individuals to the City Year program, focusing on building diverse teams of AmeriCorps members aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
• Collaborate closely with site and school leaders to understand talent needs, build strong candidate pipelines, and ensure recruitment targets were met while maintaining high program standards.
• Guide ACMs through the recruitment process, from application to onboarding, ensuring a seamless transition into their roles.

Relationship Building & Stakeholder Engagement:

• Build strong, strategic relationships with key stakeholders, including school leaders, teachers, and local community partners, to enhance recruitment efforts and improve program alignment.
• Utilize data-driven insights and feedback from school partners and ACMs to continuously refine recruitment and retention strategies, ensuring high engagement and successful placement.

Program Growth & Impact Delivery:

• Analyze performance data from ACM surveys, student outcomes, and classroom observations to optimize recruitment strategies and improve overall program impact.
• Foster a positive team culture through strategic development, training, and community-building events that contributed to the long-term retention of ACMs.

Program Management & Operations

• Optimized class balance, resource allocation, and technology integration with educators.
• Managed administrative operations for Summer STEM camp, overseeing 35 children per season.

Community Engagement & Partnerships
