I am a hardworking and energetic individual that is dependable, compassionate, creative and passionate. I have strong organizational skills, team player, excellent communicator and strong supervisory skills eager to become a Teacher Assistant and once completing my MAT(Master of Arts in Teaching at Winthrop University) a Teacher for K-12.
To teach children art appreciation by giving them an interactive art history lesson and by guiding them through no fail art projects.
I brought into each classroom an Art Module that I developed with the permission and assistance of North Seattle Community College. It included a slide presentation of artist's from around the world and art history as far back as the Tutankhamun.
I brought in no fail art projects as requested by the teachers to be added to the curriculum. Each project chosen carefully working closely with the teacher was essential for success. For example each student produced an art project then added their writing assignment to the top of the art project, It gave the student a chance to express themselves through art and through their writings. Each childs work was different and beautiful, not one alike.
Once the children's projects were complete they were displayed
we discovered that each child took great pride in their work because of their individuality.
