At the JGM fabrication shop I have participated in a variety of different tasks & projects, but mostly I was fabricating, fitting and welding on the Space-X Rocket Launch Pad and the Buffalo Bill Stadium Seat Rakers. Been selected and temporarily transferred to a different location to help out other team-members in need of help, to meat critical deadlines. Supported the QC team and assisted the CWI`s by inspecting welds and checking critical measurements to meet specifications and by performing difficult repairs. Actively co-operated with the maintenance technicians in developing custom jigs/fixtures and other tasks to facilitate more efficient production workflows.

At Liebherr I have participated in a complete disassembly of a 400 ton Dump Truck, followed by building and assembling a 400 ton Prototype Dump Truck of Liebherr's Latest Concept.

The build required systematic and extensive inspections of each end every part prior to installation, paired with thorough and detailed written and visual documentation of fitments, clearances, difficulties and other concerns, to provide clear data and feedback to the Engineers. The project continued by the Start up, Testing and Optimization Procedures.

During the period of my employment with Liebherr I have also assisted in other small to mid scale projects that benefited the efficiency of their overall operation.

At Westech we built the biggest dump truck beds recorded by Guinness World Records. Among other duties, I was in charge of assuring fitment to specifications of the exhaust system which is one of Westech's trademarks. This system is incorporated in the body design and precisely routed on various body styles, to properly occupy the available space, without affecting any mechanical functions and components, to achieve maximum efficiency of heat spread from the exhaust gas to the dump body, to prevent the load freezing to the bed in cold weather conditions.

We were in charge of removal, modification and re-routing of various pipe systems, through existing and remaining pipe systems and other object complexes. Effectively assuring quality and delivering compliance with specifications, to the high standards of Naval Codes, in physically unapproachable places and seemingly impossible situations took an extreme level of teamwork and trouble shooting skill set. The difficulty of this two Coast Guard vessel overhaul project pushed not just me, but all of us to the limit, and selected an outstanding crew for itself.

A relatively small crew of fitters and welders were in charge of maintaining 36 Tow-Boats in good structural and up to code condition, ensuring the fleet qualifies for contracts and delivers safely and efficiently on time. Over the 9 years, there is no part of an average Tow-Boat, nor its piping systems that I have not Fitted, Fabricated or Welded on. Throughout my employment I assisted in their duties and worked hand in hand with Engineers, Diesel Mechanics, Machinists and Electricians. We`ve also built a brand new Dry Dock and two sister Tug Boats from scratch.

• Reframing & Replacing bulkheads in balance & fuel thanks.
• Relocating windows and doors, opening and extending rooms
• Relocating / Replacing : Winches, Bitts, Cleats, Chocks, Manholes
• Exhaust system rerouting , muffler swaps or complete system re-runs
• Stack modifications or complete redesigns to except new mufflers
• Re-piping entire hydraulic steering systems
• Removal and fabrication of new Tow-Knees
• Installing metal or rubber bumpers
• Entire Re-Frame, Re-Hull, Re-Side, Re-Deck
• Complete flat bottom shell changes from Bow to Stern
• Stainless pad installs, against rapid corrosion above & after Propellers
• Fabrication or reconditioning existing steering and flanking rudders
• Installation of new rams, calibration and synchronization of steering
