I am Currently working as a Mental Health Technician and Unit Clerk IV for CVPH part time. I also work as a Deputy Town Clerk and office Clerk part time at the Town of Jay.
I currently work on the mental health units for adults and children. In this role I run groups to assist the patients in goal setting, coping skills and communications skills. I complete vital signs and charting. This role also ensures patient and unit safety. As needed I work as the unit clerk. In this role I answer phones, file, fax, control who enters and leaves the unit, and work alongside the charge nurse on discharges and admissions.
In this role I interacted with the public, answered phones, assisted with payroll, paid taxes associated with payroll, filed, set up vouchers, entered vouchers for payments, cut checks, completed MSD forms, assisted with setting up for board meetings, helped with the food pantry, ordered items, made calls to clarify bills, created abstracts, completed income executions, handled retiree insurance payments, assisted to maintain binders, made hotel reservations and handled other day to day tasks. I also worked with-in the enhanced business program and completed some online trainings.
This was an overnight position where I was assigned to sleep. My position involved waking up in case of an emergency to assist the awake staff in evacuating the home. Prior to my shift ending I would assist the individuals in starting their day. This included showering, dressing, receiving their medications and eating.
I was the clerk to the town Assessor and the town Supervisor. I answered phones, filed, handled concerns as they arose, assisted on grants and completed duties as assigned. I also processed payments for town Water and Sewer.

Assisted the Residence Manager with the oversight and running of one residential home.
In this role I assisted individuals in their community based homes. I had 26 individuals on my caseload and oversaw approx 20 staff. This role required working with other agencies and many families. I also co-supervised the Respite Home.
Oversaw and handled the functioning of the residential home. Some of the duties were scheduling, meetings, interacting with families, and managing support staff.
Assisted the Residence Manager with the oversight of a residential home.
Worked hands on to support and enhance the lives of the individuals.
