I was nominated unexpectedly Teacher of the Year at Dana Road Elementary 2023~2024 school year.  Nothing really surprises me because I just feel what's for me and destined for me will happen.  However, I did the first interview and the article in the newspaper read Tametricia L Brown leads students with an Opened Heart. I teach students this as well if they have an opened heart I can teach them. I missed the second interview and luncheon in the classroom teaching. I just feel that teachers should be in the classroom, and have passion everyday that they step into the building.
