I was chosen from 1 of the three top nursing schools in San Antonio to participate in this program. I was trained all summer by the ICU educator and worked in the ICU during my senior year of nursing school. I was paid like an RN and was able to work in the ICU setting. My internship when I graduated was almost completed and I had a great paying job while doing it. This was definitely a great honor.
