The Office Manager for Financial Services is responsible for assisting in the management of fiscal services personnel and operational activities, supporting the accounting functions for state and federal programs, and providing support with divisional and program budgeting processes.
1. Manage accounts receivable personnel.
2. Prepare billings as assigned.
3. Interpret, analyze, and record financial transactions for the agency’s programs, to include divisional budgets and program budget maintenance.
4. Reconcile accounting data and transactions, as assigned.
5. Prepare monthly reconciliations, as assigned.
6. Manage first-level approvals for agency, to include cash receipts, purchase orders, travel approvals, and journal vouchers.
7. Interpret complex rules and regulations.
8. Maintain knowledge of the current trends and developments in state government and fiscal operations.
9. Prepare standard and specialized reports through operational analysis of data from the various systems, sub-systems and procedures.
10. Provide information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses and recommendations.
11. Serve as division contact for department staff information requests.
