Volunteer

From the years that I worked in the nursing home, I would often be reminded of how many eldery patients live all alone in the world. Since I have always preferred to dedicate my life to helping others.

I first started volunteering my time to visit nursing homes in order to provide something that I learned very early, one on one time heals just as much as the medical side of patient care.

I next accepted a volunteer at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital. Fortunately, I was offered a full time position. Unfortunately, I was no longer able to volunteer while having a paid position.

I then moved on to volunteering for M.A.D.D.

I chose M.A.D.D simply for the fact I believe that M.A.D.D is an absolutely amazing group. Only after a short time I learned that I chose the right place to volunteer my time. We worked countless events in order to raise money to help those who have been affected by drunk driving events.

From having a booth at the Woodward Cruise in Pontiac to manning the phones for New Years Eve. I dedicated 12 years of my extra time for M.A.D.D.

From as far back as I can remember, I wanted to save the world!!! Somewhere along the way, I was made to accept that even though I couldn't save the world, I could at least make a difference in the lives that crossed my path!
