• Supervised a coding team of 14 in a comprehensive academic medical center with over 800 licensed beds; average daily census over 300.
• Implemented a concurrent coding process in order to reduce the daily DNFB (Discharged Not Final Billed) accounts by $1.5M (10%).

• Audited physician documentation to support Evaluation and Management coding assignments for over 150 physicians; conducted follow-up education to ensure compliance with documentation standardsand enhance revenue recognition.
