Worked with clients ages 5 and up in the Willowbrook Adult and Child/Adolescent Partial Program. Duties included nursing assessments for new admissions, daily assessments for change in client status, communication with physician daily for status updates, administration of medications to youth clients as needed, preparation and review of discharge planning for clients .Completion of FMLA , Shortterm disability paperwork and Prior Authorizations for medications Also provided nursing assessments, including medication updates, for clients in the Willowbrook Counseling Center.
Staff nurse:

Charge Nurse:
Duties as above with the addition of management of milieu and supervision of 10-15 nursing staff. Interviewing, hiring and training of nurses and mental health techs. Provided on call coverage for the nursing department.
Program Director:
Duties as above with the addition of management of 10-15 clinicians including masters level therapist and dieticians; budget preparation and management, program development and implementation; marketing program with referral source development; community outreach and education regarding program services as well as educational information on eating disorders, trauma treatment and substance abuse.
Assistant Director of Nursing:
Responsibilities include Joint Commission preparation; hiring and on-boarding of all nurses and mental health technicians; management of all nursing staff; chart audits; education of nursing staff; hospital management coverage in the absence of the Chief Nursing Officer; on-call weekend supervisor as back up for weekend relief nursing supervisors.
Accomplishments include progressive promotions within the facility that reflect my growth as a team member ; assisting with patient care as nurse, counselor and manager; continued and progressive staff and program development; growth of referral source base with the Business Development Department; development and implementation of candle light vigil to raise awareness of eating disorders for 13 years; program promotion at numerous conferences; numerous career fairs for nursing students as well as for program therapists.
