2024 CFO Of the Year - Upstate Greenville

Currently work in the real estate industry and the last two years have been challenging in the residential and commercial markets. In order for the company to be successful, cash flow compliance was essential to the success of the business. Through team work and collaboration, headcount remained consistent. I recommended that the executive team decrease their salary for one year. As a result, no one was asked to reduce their hours or lose their position. As a I look back, it was the greatest gift to the staff and the company.

There were many sacrifices.. Early on I was asked to manage payroll and human resources and implement processes during an already difficult time. While it added time to my day, I learned so much and created so many relationships encouraging the staff and helping others. Multitasking was the key to getting through each and every day.

It still is and was a strategic time working with financial banking partners. A line of credit was approved which was a miracle. The real estate industry will continue to work through cash flow strategies for the next four to six months as the cyclical market changes.

I was honored to receive the award which was received for working hard and investing in the company's future.
