  • I was part of the 53rd Hurricane Hunters. I was responsible to have all the parts that would be needed to repair the C130 cargo planes that were used to fly missions. The supply kits would be taken on the first mission and left till the end of the season at Antigua air base, I would fly with the plane every time there was a hurricane. We also did winter storm in Colorado.
  • Our kits had millions of dollars worth of parts the we were responsible for insuring that the inventory was correct and verifying where every part was by serial numbers, repair shop, recalled,etc.
  • When the Hurricane Hunters went reserve i went with them to train the reserves on the C130 and the parts paperwork et.
  • I was NCOIC of Maintenance Supply Liaison- making sure that they each had what they needed from each other.
  • As part of the safety and compliance team we were responsible to do checks and audits with both supply and maintenance shops and met once a month to discuss what needs to be looked and and how to corrected
  • Monitored supplier performance metrics such as lead times, fill rates, and backorders to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
