Developed training, written processes, and competency validations for processes and new equipment to ensure quality standards were met in accordance with industry guidelines. Mediated disputes between employees to deescalate the work environment. Conducted daily huddle reports and weekly staff meetings. Coordinated repairs for malfunctioning equipment. Ran and oversee the daily operations of the GYN/CRS/URO/CT/Robotics services. Managed a team of 12 employees and over 30 physicians. Responsible for hiring, corrective discipline, terminations, and annual employee performance appraisals. Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams to oversee the management of critically ill/high risk obstetrical patients in surgery. Collaborated with multidisciplinary teams and was an implementation team member for the first fetal surgery program in the Gulf south. Past stretch assignment of overseeing sterile processing during a year long management absence. Served as a resource in numerous capacities at the departmental, institution, and systems level including; "EPIC" productions, editing new policies/procedures, robotics steering committee, LASER safety, new OR build out project, patient satisfaction committee, several "LEAN" projects, the "STARS" program, medical staffing office, and a geriatric resource nurse.
