Catholic Medical Center has a 12 bed LDRP unit as well as a Special Care Nursery which cares for premature and sick babies with a gestational age of 30 weeks and above. CMC does about 1100 births a year. After a brief leave from CMC I returned inpatient labor and delivery. I care for patients of all gestational ages that require a stay on the labor and delivery unit as well as the postpartum stay.
