Volunteer Experience

  • Jefferson Area Community Lions Club, Director (04/2019 - Present) Co-Partner of the Bingo Committee since 2019, which is our highest grossing fundraiser every year. Helped in organizing, obtaining donations, purchasing prizes, advertising through social media platforms, ticket sales, setting up the event, and breaking down afterwards, Also the lead of a brand new small games of chance committee for this club. The 1st ever Summer Raffle is underway and about to be completed making it our 3rd highest grossing fundraiser. Personally proposed this project to the club, purchased the prizes, helped design advertising flyers/tickets, advertising through social media platforms, and personally sold 25% of the ticket sales
  • Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Wildlife Watchers on the Water Kayak Tour Guide (05/2023 - Present) Assist students and adults with life vest and paddle selections, help them into their kayak, and demonstrate how to adjust their seat and footrests, Demonstrate how to hold the paddle correctly, maneuver the kayak, give safety precautions, lead them around the lake discussing the different wildlife/vegetation we encounter, and the background information of the creation of this manmade lake, Responsible for the safety and the return of the individuals on the tour including proper use of equipment like whistles, radios, and tow ropes.
