Dedicated Registered Behavioral Technician with experience at Southlake Autism and Behavioral Services, skilled in managing and reshaping behaviors in children with autism. Proven ability to remain calm under pressure while implementing effective coping strategies. Strong time management skills and a commitment to fostering independence in young clients.
As a Registered Behavioral Technician my job was to implement therapy sessions with kids that have autism in hopes that one day they will be able to live an independent life. Learning how to manage behaviors and reshape behaviors with coping strategies. Teaching more appropriate ways of conversation and communication. Whether it’s in an office setting, school setting or community setting teaching kids to navigate the world regardless of their difficulties was my main focus.
For 5 months each year for 3 years I worked on the store set up crew and as a sales associate at Spirit Halloween. Being on store set up crew we would work on unloading semi trucks full of boxes and organizing by color in the store. After every section was organized we’d open the boxes and start loading them onto the shelves. As a sales associate we would maintain the cleanliness of the store and continue to restock as the day went by. Making sure each customer was helped and able to get what they were looking for.
